1. Navigate to https://pennstate.qualtrics.com in any web browser and sign in using your Penn State Access Account credentials.
  2. If you do not have any surveys yet, create a new Blank Survey Project and name it "Test Survey" or something similar. It does not need to have any content in it.
  3. Click on the silhouette icon in the upper right corner of the window, then click on "Account Settings..." This should load a new page.

  4. Click on the "Upgrade Account" tab in the upper left, just below where it says "My Account".
  5. Enter your account upgrade code in the blank text box. If you do not have an upgrade code, please contact your IT Helpdesk and request one.

  6. Click on the "Upgrade Account" button. The screen will refresh and it will look like nothing has happened; this is normal.
  7. Click on the "Projects" tab in the top right corner of the window.
    • On the right hand side of any of your project there will be an ellipsis (...), click on this to open up your survey options.
    • If the options for 'Collaborate' and 'Distribute' are not grayed out, then your account has successfully been upgraded.

  8. If your account upgrade did not work, please contact your IT Helpdesk for support.
