Use Teams to Make and Receive Calls

In addition to Teams meetings with audio and video, there are two types of Calls in Teams:

  • Teams Calling - Audio and video calls internal to Penn State
  • Teams Phone - Audio calls external to Penn State using a Penn State phone number
    • Special request required to enable.
    • Monthly fee applies.

Notable Features

  • Voicemail is included in both Teams Calling and Team Phone.
  • 5-digit campus dialing is not available. Dial the full phone number.
  • You can save contacts, forward calls, create groups, and manage delegates.
  • You can make and receive calls on any mobile device with the Teams app installed.
